George Brown Memorial Scholarship

Every year the CMPRSA Awards the George Brown Memorial Scholarship to an outstanding PRSSA junior enrolled in a communication-related program of study at Michigan State University. CMPRSA also selects an outstanding student practitioner from among the PRSSA ranks. Both students are honored in April at the annual PACE Awards Program and at the Department of Advertising Awards Luncheon.

PRSSA members interested in the scholarship should fill out the application and submit a resume and at least two letters of recommendation for consideration. Writing and work samples are helpful, but not required.

Students are encouraged to nominate their peers for the outstanding practitioner award. CMPRSA feels PRSSA members are most aware of each other's accomplishments and can offer the best insight for the selection committee as to who is worthy of this award.
