FAITH Catholic is one of America's largest and fastest-growing Catholic publishers. We are a non-profit company that publishes magazines, books and provides creative design services to Catholic organizations throughout the country.
We are organized and operate as a creative agency with many of the same roles and responsibilities. An internship with FAITH Catholic provides insight and experience in project management and work flow and allows an intern the opportunity to contribute to the production and execution of marketing plans and collateral material. FAITH Catholic is a very professional, progressive and innovative atmosphere to work.
It is not mandatory to be Catholic or Christian to work here. The internship is unpaid and requires 12-15 hours of availability. We are accepting applications now for the remainder of this semester and upcoming semesters as well.
Internship responsibilities
Assist with project management, event coordination, public relations, marketing strategies:
• new product and book promotions
• marketing coordination and follow-up
• develop and maintain marketing database
• prospect research
• draft press releases
• maintain sample library
• prepare promotional materials
• overall administrative support
Desired skills and qualifications
Student interns should be professional, competent in Microsoft Word office programs, able to take direction and work independently, and demonstrate strong organization, written, verbal and communication skills. Declared major in public relations, marketing or communication.

Director of Sales and Marketing

Description:
The Director of Sales and Marketing plans and executes leasing and marketing strategies for the property, including sales, advertising, public relations, special events and social marketing initiatives.
Job Duties:
· Monitors integrity of brand and property image
· Acts as primary customer service representative for the property
· Executes marketing plan to achieve business goals and objectives
· Supervises all leasing representatives and student workers involved in leasing
· Maintains all leasing activities, statistics and coordinates reporting to the corporate office
· Develops and executes resident events, leasing events and other events as needed
· Develops and distributes resident and prospect newsletters and e-mailers
· Plans and implements promotions
· Manages Web site, and leads other social marketing initiatives with assistance of student workers
· Coordinates market research
· Develops and manages resident and prospect information databases
· Conducts training sessions for selling techniques, closing techniques, and other relevant topics as needed
