    What's New?

    Get involved with CMPRSA!

The Central Michigan PRSA board has been busy pulling together opportunities for more members to be active in the chapter! With seeing so many familiar faces at our events and new members each month, there are a number of ways to build up your volunteer experience and get more involved with CMPRSA.

    Programming Committee

If you have a knack for event planning or interesting program ideas CMPRSA's Programming Committee may be for you! From event logistics and securing speakers, to brainstorming innovative events, programming is a great opportunity to flex your event skills and network with chapter members! Reach out to Programming Chair Andrew Belanger or Denise Donohue for more information on how to get involved!

    Sponsorship and Community Engagement

Do you like making sales or marketing pitches? CMPRSA is looking for out-going, well connected individuals to be part of our sponsorship and community engagement team. We are looking for members interested in helping build strategic partnerships for the chapter, obtain event sponsorship's, work with the Programming Committee, the PACE Committee and more. Interested members can contact Andrew Belanger for more information.

    Communications Committee

CMPRSA is looking to pull together a Communications Committee to help us reach current and potential members about our events and announcements, as well as to help highlight the great things our members do! If social media is your jam, or you know MailChimp like the back of your hand, let us know! And if you've had some great ideas for better ways to reach you as members, we're all ears.

If you're interested in helping get this committee off the ground, reach out to Communications Chair Andrea Poole for more information!

    Diversity and Ethics Committee

Introducing CMPRSA's newest board member and committee, we're thrilled to announce Camara Lewis as the Diversity and Ethics Chair for CMPRSA. Camara has been busy contacting National PRSA and our sister chapters for ideas about how to educate our members and the PR industry as a whole about Diversity and Ethics in our field. From events to blogging, this is a great time to get involved with Diversity and Ethics as Camara works to build CMPRSA's engagement from the ground up.

Send Camara Lewis an email today if you have ideas or are interested in joining the committee to strengthen Diversity and Ethics in CMPRSA and PR as a whole!
